History:

• 1948 Family business founded by Max Knopf in Brooklyn, New York
• One of the pioneers in core processing and recycling
• 1978 Sons Marshall and Woody takeover operations
• 1992 Began distribution of Saginaw products
• 2000 M&M Knopf becomes part of the Remy International Group reinforcing its global footprint
• 2005 Marshall and Woody retire from the business
• 2005/6 M&M Knopf begins “ Lean Journey” and “Customer Service Improvement Program”
• 2007 Marshall and Woody purchase the business from Remy
